Artistic Director and Choreographer 
Donna B. Isobel is a Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor, 
diagnosed in October 2006.  She is now proud to be alive, dancing, and cancer free. Donna graduated from Ohio University with a B.F.A. in dance and choreography. During her time there, Isobel danced in original work by Sean Curran. As a choreographer her work was performed at the American College Dance Festival in Buffalo, NY and at the Donkey Coffee House in Athens, OH.  In Seattle, her work has been seen at On The Boards Northwest New Works Festival, 12 Min Max Series, Velocity Under Construction Series, Annex Theatre, and The Field Seattle.  She has danced internationally at ROMP!, a festival of independent dance in Victoria, British Columbia.  In addition to her choreography experience she has danced for Seattle choreographer Jessica Jobaris. Currently, she is on her sixth year as an adjunct teacher for Seattle Pacific University teaching introduction to dance and modern/jazz technique courses.   Donna is the creator and founder of aluminum siding dance company in 2009.    Her own expression of dance has been influenced by exploring styles such as Breakdance, African dance, Hula, Gyrotonics, Ballet and Contact improv.

Aluminum Siding is a modern dance company based in Seattle, WA.
The Company’s goal is to create inspiring, honest, athletic, 
thought provoking work. The name came from the material used to 
protect houses, keeping them safe, warm and protected from 
storms.  Aluminum Siding Dance Company mission is to create the 
same type of atmosphere to experience art.
